100.000 members

Now Yuwie has officially 100.000 members – did happen minute ago.

Yuwie Survivor

There is a game starting at Yuwie – the Yuwie Survivor. It's named after the TV-show and it has same kind of idea: two team are compiting and one member of the loosing team is going to be voted of and it's done by the spectators, not other team members.

The game has a special page at Yuwie and you can visit it at http://www.yuwie.com/yuwie-survivor/

Because you never know if I need some backup, so why don't you sign up to Yuwie and give your vote to me. The member with the least amount of votes will be leave the Yuwie Survivor game that week.

Of course you can visit the site and watch the game without being a member, but it will be lot more fun when you can comment and vote the players.

Watch the video and learn

Yuwie member Oldbuddy made a very good video about how you can increase your pageviews. I suggest that everyone of you, who are already members and those who will be, to watch the video – it has some very good advices.

100.000th sign up will happen in 24 hours

Latest id a minute ago was 97808. Y Guy made this little harder by not showing his friends anymore. It was very easy to look at all his friends and the newest was always the latest. Now you have look number by number forthe latest new member.

But don't forget my contest where you can win $1000 – all you need to do is to sign up to Yuwie using this link and get the id=100000. I will personally pay the $1000 to the winner – but remember that to win you have to use my link and become my referral.

Up date: the 100.000th sign up was 19 old female called Laura and she did not sign up using my referral link.

Explosive growth

"An error has occured on the server. We ask for your patience as we deal with our explosive growth."

That was all I got from Yuwie few minutes ago. Hope they will manage it.

Be the 100.000th sign up and win a $1000 prize

What will you need to do to win that prize? Just to sign up to Yuwie using this link and get the ID=100.000. That's all you need to do. I will personally pay you the $1000 prize if you are that lucky.

Another copycat

When people starts to copy you, you know that you have a good product – as Yuwie News is. First xeroxed blog was yuwie-news.blogspot.com and now I found yuwienews-yuwienews.blogspot.com. What is next, yuwie-news-yuwie-news.blogspot.com? This is funny :-)

One more to go for 100.000

There one more 10.000 signup's to go before 100.000 is full. A hundredthounsends signup in two and half months! And a rise from nowhere to 2500 biggest sites in the world! This is unbelievable.

Is Yuwie having problems with speed again?

About two weeks ago there was made some changes at Yuwie's server farm. Progress with speed problems were significant, but now the site seems to slowdown again. I have received too often this announcement:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e31'

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Timeout expired

/if/db-open.asp, line 372

Is the growth too much even for the new system+ Does Yuwie need more bandwidth, servers and better database? The database is anyway a MS product and I just don't trust them.

Smart or smart ass?

Some people are very creative when they try work them around something that could be prohibited. Like this guy here is promoting his own site with a layout. Question is: is his site non-Yuwie related or not? And is it against TOS to use layout to promote the site?

Sometimes Y Guy is quite flexible with these, sometimes not.

9/22/2007

Did we need this: yuwiehotties.com

OMG, can I say anything else. Did we really need a site where Yuwie's (mostly) female members publish their more or less naked pictures?

From the site: "Invite your Yuwie Friends to be a part of the Yuwie Hotties here on YuwieHotties.com!! IT'S FREE!!!" Yeah. Nice. It's FREE!!! But do they get paid of showing their pictures like they do in Yuwie? No, they show their pictures for free, because Yuwiehotties is not a revenue sharing site. Stupid people.

Yuwie – invite friends, hang out and make money

Even Yuwie is the fastes growing social network now, it has only +80.000 members. It has excisted only for two months – very short time for popular network. It is quite obvious that majority of people have not heard about it yet, so it might be good time to tell little about Yuwie.

What Yuwie is all about? Yuwie A NEW Web 2.0 Viral Social Networking Site or “connect with friends” site like FaceBook or mySpace. It is 100% FREE, but it pays to the registered users. As a member you get paid a certain amount of the revenue Yuwie makes for every 1000 hits you get to your page. If you invite your friends to Yuwie too, you will get paid by the activities that are made by your referrals too.

Interested? Take a closer look and watch this video. And then sign up, because this is a chance of your lifetime

Yuwie is flying under the radar : 80.000

How long it took to go from 70.000 to 80.000? Four days, little under 96 hours? Actually I was just little too optimistic when I said that Yuwie will rech 100.000 members in mid-September. It Looks like it will take one more week from today, maybe less.

Yuwie is flying under the radar of the big news- and mediasites. You hardly can find a mention about Yuwie in their articles. Must say that it surprises me, because it shows how out of the scene they are. So many are just writing about Facebook and how fast it is growing – to me Facebook is so passée.

Just cant wait when Yuwie hits their fan – they will be surprised.

9/19/2007

Yuwie is Skyrocketing!

I don't believe that there have ever been as successful start to a website as it is to Yuwie. The three months average rank at Alexa is now 8064, even the whole site haven't been around the three months period.

If you haven't registered yet to Yuwie, do it immeaditely, because soon there will be a flood of new members who all try to get bigger piece of the pie. And if you refer them, your piece will grow when their piece is growing – so take action now and register!

9/18/2007

New disclaimer

Ther was new disclaimer added to the bottom of Notice feature:

ADVERTISING IS NOT ALLOWED. If you use the notice board to advertise any non-Yuwie related content, your account will be locked and/or deleted.

On MySpace when you post a comment or send a message with the word "Yuwie", they block my account and say that my password has been stolen and must be changed. But on Yuwie they just delete it – period.

The way I understand this disclaimer is that I can't tell my friends at Yuwie about this blog. Question is: what are they afraid for? Loose all members to another network?

Second new thing: there is now a "Report" button in read notices window. As we know, notices are sended to all our friends. What kind of friend reports of your post to administration? Answer is: a lousy friend. Can you trust all the people you have on your friends list? Here we have a reason why I accept only few of the request I receive.

Number of the day:2165

Alexa traffic rank for Yuwie reached new record – 2165. As we can guess, climbing up at Alexa's list is now slower because competition is harder, but as amount of registered users increases with +3% every day, Yuwie will reach new records quite soon.

9/17/2007

Yuwie goes shopping

Yuwie opened a new tab in Control Panel – Yuwie Shopping. No, world is not ready for Yuwie hats, T-shirts and coffee mugs – that we have to wait a while, but if you do some other online shopping, you can do it from your Control Panel and increase RSR.

Cool new features at Yuwie

People at Yuwie released few very cool new features. The coolest is (my opinion) that you can see who is active member in your referrals. By looking your personal referral tree, you can see how many referrals and how many pageviews they have. Now you can concentrate on those referrals who bring you the money or/and motivate thos who are more quietly.

The other new cool feature is that now when you leave a message to your first level referral, a notification will be sent to his personal email. This feature will be default for all new accounts. You can change it from your Account Settings >> Notification Settings.

Now is right time to support the active members of the downline and activate less actives.

70.000 came and went

I was just one day without Internet and what did happen during that day? the 70.000th member signed up to Yuwie. The growth of Yuwie isn't as fast as I expected – I expected 100.000 members by today. Anyway, growth is still very good, from 60.000 to 70.000 it took again only 5 days. Could say that Yuwie is the fastest growing social network?

Let's give my friend Henry a big helping hand

My friend Henry is about to win a big prize tonight at this networking game "Lost". He is in lead, but the player at 2nd place is very near, so Henry will need all help that we can ever give. Please go and sign the game Lost using his personal link, so we can help him to win. His link is http://www.lost.eu/4a704 Thank you all who will help him.

There's two kind of people

This new game – Lost – is very interesting and you can learn lot about networking with it. What I have learned, is the way how people act and react. I have learned that there is two kind of people: hubs and satellites.

Hubs are people who communicate with other people. They create new contacts and are very active toward other people. Hubs communicate with satellites and other hubs. When networks are created, they are mostly created via hubs. Two or more hubs can create bigger network.

Satellites are people who communicates mostly with hubs – not so often with other satellites. Satellites doesn't create networks with other satellites, the contacts are mostly made through hubs. Satellites who doesn't have any other contacts, can be part of a very big and popular hub. But even they are part of big network, they don't actually have their own network and they are dependent of hubs network.

I believe that this game is very educating when you think how you can build a strong and active referral tree. We must concentrate on hubs, because satellites mostly does not invite new people to your downline.

This is interesting – here is your link to the game

9/14/2007

Get "Lost"!

Lost is a new kind of networking game. Here is your invitation – http://www.lost.eu/4a704 – Don't loose the game, because if you loose, all your network will loose. So don't loose.

Concept of the game

Unlike most other sites, Lost isn't trying to mirror real-word friendships or connections.

A mixture of online game/street art/social network, Lost is a community of people connected through links written down and left in random places all over the world. From a single link written on a piece of paper and left in a cafe in the UK, over 400,000 people from across the world are now linked together by notes left in railway stations and written on websites.

This is an experiment to show how curiosity and creativity can link thousands of people together in unique and interesting ways. This project is constantly evolving, and so if you have any ideas about the future and would like to be involved, post a message on the community forum and we'll get in touch!

Yuwie will soon pass myYearBook

It's about days or hours when Yuwie will be more popular than myYearBook, according to rankings made by Alexa.com. Today myYearBook is still approx. 100 steps ahead of Yuwie, but the speed how Yuwie is growing, will make Yuwie pass myYearBook very soon. After that Yuwie will be the 15th biggest social network. After that the next in target will be Buzznet.com.

For what you will get paid?

Val wrote in his blog:

Dont be stupid to reject your friends requests!Hello friends,

I wonder why too many people here reject their friend requests.

Don't be stupid, if you do that you LOSE!

This is a nice place for Fun & Profit and here is why

YOU MUST NOT REJECT YOUR FRIEND REQUESTS:

  • You get paid for every new referral
  • You get paid for every new friend
  • You get paid for every page you visit here
  • You get paid for posting comments
  • You get paid for writng blogs
  • You get paid for posting pics
  • You get paid for looking at picture galeries
  • You get paid for creating clubs
  • You get paid for participating in clubs
  • You get paid to be active !!!
OK! THEN, DON'T YOU THINK REJECTING A FRIEND REQUEST IS A STUPID THING?
REJECT = LOSS OF PROFIT

Just invite referrals and make friends as much as you can and hold on every page at least 3 sec. That is it!

Val

P.S. Post your comment and earn profit now

What Val wrote, is almost true, but not all.

  • Yes, you will get paid for every new referral – if they are active. If new referral just signs in and then leaves it there, you get payed only for these few page loads. Thats it.
  • No, you won't get paid for every new friend. Actually, you won't get paid from friends at all. You can have zillions of friends, but you wont earn a penny from them, if they don't visit your profile page and read your blogs or look at your pictures.
  • No, you won't get paid for new club you create. This is the area where Yuwie makes it's money.
  • No, you won't get paid for participating a club. This is all Yuwies money. Every page load, new comment and new member at clubs will make revenue for Yuwie that will not be shared with members. After all, Yuwie is a business and it needs some revenue for it self.
  • Yes, you will get paid for being active. This is correct – invite (active) friends, share pictures, write blogs (good content is always worth of it), send messages, create layouts, visit other peoples profile pages – all that will get you more revenue.
You don't have to accept blindly every new invite for a friend. Because some of people at Yuwie tries to get rich quickly by inviting new friends, they are so busy for doing it and they don't visit your profile page ever more. They just jump around trying just make friends they don't care and won't be in touch after that – is it called friendship?

You can reject a friend request if you feel so, it won't be loss of profit. What I do when I receive a friend request, is a visit to his / hers profile page and then I decide if I will accept or reject the request. I believe in friendship between people who have something to share, so I accept just those request where I really feel that I have something to share.

Yes, I have made new friends at Yuwie. I have met really nice and inspiring people with who I will be in touch and share thoughts and stuff. But I won't accept every request and be never in contact with them anymore.

So, don't believe all the hype there is around. Or like my old friend said: "If you don't belive in something, you will fall for anything".

Great comment

When I first time heard about Yuwie – month ago – I did little background work and googling about it. One of the first articles I found, was Ben Forrester's blog. This blog was one of the reasons why I started to be active with Yuwie, it was so inspiring. It was the first place where I saw someone telling straight how much he made with Yuwie. Ben is one of the true pioneers at Yuwie his ID- number is 348! He had an account already in July and he made 44 cents.

In August his revenue increase 263% and he counted how much he will make in future if the growth will stay at the same level. Go and read his article – it's worth of it.

How greedy you can get? Oh, no! It's not greedy, it's clever!

I don't know about you, but my opinion is that some people can be really shameless and greedy – and very clever at the same time. But I just believe that most of Yuwie members won't like what this guy just did:

He bought domain iyuwie.com (see the "i" before yuwie.com) and runs it like redirect page to his referral account. Then he wrote a press release and got it released by Yahoo News! And it's written in very sneaky way – in one sentence he speaks about Yuwie.com and in next about his own iYuwie.com.

If you don't like what he's doing – just go and report about him. People at Yuwie must react if there is lot of reports about him. If not, we know that it's a jungle out there.

P.S. Only nice thing in this is that he's using Clean and Simple – Baby Blue layout, that is created by my beautiful and talented daughter.

P.S.S. Just got answer from Yuwie: "We don't mind that at all. Its actually a really clever way to get referrals." Now we all know that there is no rules in referral game and things might go quite nasty. In my eyes the press release was quite misleading.

OK, someone took already the Yuwie.de domain, but he did the redirect wrong – just to his profilepage, not with the referral link.

Yuwie as a display name

Can you believe this: someone took Yuwie as his display name! That's heavy!

Another Yuwie News!

I did little googling around and I found another blog named Yuwie News. Isn't that bit lame. If you're not first, try another name, for God sake!

9/10/2007

60.000 members

It took less than 120 hours to get 10.000 new sign ups. We are know 60.000 yuwiees.

Must say that the new speedening of the server came right on time, but stille there is now some problems, like the frontpage without pictures. But I'm positive that all problems are fixed very soon.

How fast is fast?

Yuwie just had a site maintenance and now nobody can say anymore that Yuwie is slow. The site is now far from slow. Go and enjoy the new, improved and fast Yuwie!

Number of the day: 2367

New record again – 2367. Yuwie has now seriously reached the critical mass and the growth will be unbelievable. Just go and see everyday how many new signups there are – you'll be surprised. And don't forget to promote your referral link.

9/09/2007

Search your earnings

I believe that you alla are familiar with Google and use it everyday. You know that Google is a multimillion company and Sergey Brin and Larry Page both have their own private jets and so. And I must say that Googles Adsense is one of the first revenue sharing programs – they share over 70% of the income to publishers. I have no bad word about Google.

But does Google share the income with people who uses the Google search? No. Would you like to get some of that money too? Or would you use a websearch that shares it's income with users? Now it's possible – zotspot is a revenue sharing websearch. And you can increase your income by getting referrals too. Try it.

No interview from Korry

I must say that I'm little disappointed, because Korry rejected my request for an interview. "Who is Korry?" you may ask. Korry is the guy with ID=1 and I have reasons to believe that he invented Yuwie. It would have been nice to get few words from him.

Number of the day: 2779

Yuwie has reached a new record in Alexa's list and it's now ranked as 2779th of every website
in the internet. You know that there's millions of them. Previous record was 2875th which was reached two weeks ago.

Now it really looks like Yuwie starts to reach the critical mass. Since the 50.000th member, new signups are coming faster than 2000 per day. The site maintenance was done right on the 11th moment, because now starts the serious traffic.

9/07/2007

Number of the day: 1,87

$1,87 is my August earnings!

Say what ever you say, but I'm satisfied with my August earnings. Sure they could be higher, but this is just the beginning. $1,87 is anyway more than anyone has received from Facebook or MySpace.

Like Jay said, majority of my referrals where quite inactive. Each level has few very active member and when these active members will multiply, then we start to talk about business – some serious income.

How about YOUR earnigs? Are you satisfied with them?

Finaly something

How long will this last? Am I Yuwieholic?

9/06/2007

Can't reach Yuwie – First month results

In my case the downtime of Yuwie started earlier than they told and still I'm not reaching the service. Is it the site maintenance or something else, I don't know, but I can't ping the service or traceroute it. (Is Yuwie's IP still 66.232.99.2 ?)

At the same time I have found first writings about Yuwie earning report. Is it out - I don't know because the reason I just told, but Jay did get his and revealed it. Interesting numbers to read.

Yuwie will be down for a while

Y Guy just announced that Yuwie will be down for a while tonight from midnight CST. This is part of a site upgrade that will be performed over the next few days. "The site won't be faster when we come back online, but you should see a major difference in speed in the next few days", said Y Guy in his announcement.

We are eagerly waiting for the new faster Yuwie.

50.000 members (+ 1)

It was 6 days ago when Yuwie got the 40.000th member and now we are 50.000. That means nearly 1700 new members per day! The August average was less than 1200 per day, so there is a significant rise.

9/05/2007

Have you met Rebecca?

Rebecca Harrison signed to Yuwie yesterday. What is so special in Rebecca? I don't even know yet, but she is the 50.000th who signed up to Yuwie. Yes, I'm gonna ask her to an interview, so soon we will know bit more about her.

9/03/2007

Too agressive to me

I feel somehow disappointed and worried about how things are going. Yes, I'm still talking about Yuwie, not politics or something. I'm disappointed and worried because the way how people is trying desperately to build their downline. Some of these methods I've seen, are nearly full size spamming.

I'm not against advertising and recruiting people to sign up, but I just don't understand how someone tells proudly how he is spamming everyday members of other networks – like MySpace or Facebook. And in the next line tells that it's not good to send more than 200 - 250 messages per day or you will be banned. If there is possibilites to get banned, it's a clear sign telling that you are doing something that's not fair. And it's not a good reputation for Yuwie. If you keep doing this, Yuwie will be known as "Spammers network".

Why don't all just play a fair game here. I have never heard of a game that was won from the penalty box.

9/02/2007

First Yuwie-ad

I did a Google search using "Yuwie" as the searchterm and I found first Yuwie-ad as aponsored link. Very interesting – people trust in Yuwies future success that they invest to it!

Interview with ~dana k~

Thing I really like in Yuwie, is that I have allready met some very inspiring people. One of the first of them is a beautiful smiling lady, who we all know as ~dana k~. After reading few articles from her blog, I wanted to know her little better and I asked her to an interview and she accepted to give me one. So here it is:

Q: dana k, who are you, can you tell us more about yourself than we can see from your profile.

A: Ok....A VERY BIG thing right now, is, in two weeks I will be 50! OMG! I'm starting to get AARP mail!! lol I think I'm in complete denial. Wouldn't it be cool if we could start going backwards now? ok maybe not. =) No, really, what I am now is......single. And love it! Was married 30 years. Have 6 children and 5 grandkids. Loved ALMOST every minute of mothering. But now they're grown and it's time for me. I love being on the internet. I am here every chance I get. I also love teaching what I have learned, hoping to save someone from some of the fraudulent activity here we all have come across.

Q: How you got involved with Yuwie and who was your referer?

A: Yuwie found ME on a traffic exchange. The little talking man sorta smacked me in the face :D Don't know who my referrer was.

Q: What you find as the best thing in Yuwie?

A: I was a Myspaceaholic for a long time and it was very therapeutic for me while I was going through my divorce. Then I figured as much time as I've spent online, I should try to find some way to make money at it. So Yuwie combines the two and makes me happy!

As a network the BEST things is that EVERYONE here is so friendly. On Myspace, it's hard to add other females to your friends list unless you know them personally. They get a little suspicious. But at Yuwie, it doesn't matter. Everyone welcomes everyone. I like that.

Q: Beside Yuwie, do you have some other online activities?

A: Yes, I have several of my own affiliate websites, several other social networking profiles, uVme which is a social networking/game site/business which I am very excited about. Right now I am also interested in blogging but have alot to learn.

Q: You are the Club Owner of Masters of Yuwie University, how did you get the idea to create such a club?

A: Divine Inspiration! =) My first day here I made a post that I could help with suggestions on how to get referrals and I was bombarded with requests. So many I couldn't keep up with it. The next morning when I woke up, the whole plan came to me--what to do, how to go about it, even the name.

Q: What is your tip or advice to the people who are newie at Yuwie, or people who are not registered yet?

A: For people who are new, as far as getting referrals, when you get discouraged, (at some point you will) remember, it takes time. You can't build an empire (that's what I like to call it) overnight. Some people will get their first earnings numbers and think "OMG that's all I made??!!" Just remember you are building. In a few months it will all be worth while because everything just keeps growing.

Q: And for last, the personal question – how big is your downline right now and how deep is your referral tree?

A: Well I can't wave any big flag and say LOOK AT ME! I have 126 down to 7th level. I think that's pretty average for someone who's been here 4 weeks. Or maybe not?

Thank you ~dana k~, I believe we are going to hear more about you around Yuwie, and maybe around you other activities. You can find her profile from http://www.yuwie.com/worx4u/ and if you like to register to her empire, you can do it from this link.

Number of the day: 35373

During August there was 35373 new accounts created to Yuwie. In the end of July thre was only 4928 accounts, so the growth was incredible 817%. If the growth will stay like this, in the end of September there will be more than 320000 members in Yuwie.
